Personal Biography: I grew up on a grain farm near Shamrock, Saskatchewan. I’ve been working in the farm accounting field on and off since 1991. I’ve even tried my hand at farming, helping out for a few years in the mid-90s on the family farm. I moved to Taber to work at YPM in September of 2000. I am currently the Agricultural Services Manager in the Taber office and enjoy the challenges of working in such a diverse agricultural community.
Hobbies/Interests: I met my beautiful wife Heather in Swift Current and after moving to Alberta we were married in August, 2001. We enjoy curling together as well as traveling back to Saskatchewan to visit our families, especially our nieces and nephews. I enjoy golf as well as obsessing over baseball and hockey. I have a passion for baseball and hockey stats and may be considered a bit of a junkie, especially if you ask my wife. I also lay claim to being the reigning ping-pong champion of the Taber office . . . okay, okay, I was the runner-up and the winner moved away. I'll take what I can get!
Credentials: In April 2003 I completed the Certificate in Farm Business Management program through the University of Saskatchewan.
