Personal Biography: I have had the pleasure of working with YPM clients for a number of years. I am responsible for a number of commercial and individual clients with a strong focus on the agricultural sector, and to an even more significant degree, in the livestock sector.
A significant area of practice involves sucession planning for both farming and non-farming businesses.
I have been involved with industry representatives in preparing and making submissions to the Federal and Alberta Governments regarding the border closure due to BSE as of May 20 and December 23, 2003.
In 1999 I worked with three of six companies chosen across Canada to represent the industry, providing submissions to the US Department of Commerce to fight an anti-dumping charge brought by R-Calf (a US livestcok organization). The end result was that no duties were imposed on Canadian beef exports.
As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), I can assist you with budgeting, cash flows, and retirement and succession planning matters.
