Personal Biography: Considering I never liked math (and wasn’t very good at it), it seems a bit odd that I am working for a group of accountants. After completing the Administrative Assistant program at Lethbridge College, I worked in the college’s Registrar’s office for a couple of years covering maternity leaves, etc. I learned of a secretarial position opening at YPM, and I applied, starting two weeks later. I’ve been with YPM since 1994 and have worked as a secretary, then as the Filing and Records Supervisor and am currently the Accounts Receivable Manager and also work with some of the marketing areas.
Hobbies/Interests: I have a handicapped individual who spends two weekends a month with me. I also like to read, cross stitch, piano lessons, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
Credentials: -Graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1991.
-Graduated from the Lethbridge Community College in 1993.
Strengths: I like the balance my position gives me - the structure of the accounts receivable side and then the opposite when it comes to working on brochures, ads, etc.
