Personal Biography: I was born and raised in Milk River, and come from a dryland farm background. After college, I worked for a number of trucking firms in Lethbridge doing all types of accounting, dispatching, etc.
I quit working for awhile in town to help my husband, George, on our irrigation and cattle farm. I have decided that dryland farming is way more fun than moving handmove pipe three times a day, or pulling calves in the middle of the night!
After our two girls were a bit older I went back to work for Crop Insurance. I had my own travel agency out of our home for a number of years and then decided it was time to get back to what I knew best….accounting! I have been with YPM since the fall of 2000.
Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy camping, spending time with my family, playing cards and most of all going to our house in Cozumel, Mexico a few times during the year.
Credentials:
Grade 12 Graduate from Erle Rivers High School in Milk River
Secretarial Course @ Henderson Business College in Lethbridge
Strengths: I specialize in farm accounting. Given my hands on experience and understanding of this unique industry, I am able to assist clients and team members with their needs.
I also have had the opportunity to start specializing in the use of the Quickbooks Accounting Program.
I enjoy meeting with clients and helping them solve their accounting problems and being able to show them how to make it easier for themselves!
