Cheers to our Olympians!

Feel the pace as the soles of runners hit the pavement to carry the flame of the Olympics through our communities to its final destination of Vancouver, British Columbia. In support of this event YPM has teamed up with their communities to help bear, celebrate and pass on the tradition of peace.
The torch is scheduled to come through Taber on January 17 at 11:30-12:30. There many of our team members will be singing the National Song for the Torch and join in the festivities surrounding the Olympics.
The torch is then to continue to Lethbridge and arrive around 5:20PM. Here in Lethbridge there will also be celebrations in the evening at Henderson Park.
At last the flame will reach Fort Macleod on January 18 where various YPM team members are involved in the torch relay.
YPM would like to cheer on our athletes and congratulate them on their perseverance and abilities. |
