Life at YPM – A Student’s Perspective

What’s it like working at YPM? Well to start, it’s fun! Whether it’s a scavenger hunt, a game of ping-pong downstairs, or a war of rubber bands being banked across the ceiling and down on other team members, everyone at YPM makes it an environment full of fun and excitment. I believe that this is one of YPM’s strongest assets; you have to enjoy the people you spend every day with.
Why else should a student choose YPM as the firm to launch their career? I have chosen YPM as the firm I will article with because of the support and flexibility they provide to their CASB students. YPM provides it’s students with the ability to adjust their work week by offering the option of taking a CASB day in order to complete the week’s assignment. I really get the feeling that everyone at YPM wants to help me succeed, not only at achieving my CA but also at anything else I aspire to.

Adam Lavigne completed a Co-op term with YPM this summer and will be returning in January, 2009 as a CA Student.

  • Hey Adam, it was great to have you as a member of our team this summer and I look forward to working with you again when you return for a full time position in January. In the “off-season” perhaps you could brush up on your batting skills! Have a great last semester at U of L.
